– The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Denver Nuggets,

108-101

, in the

2026 NBA Summer League

at Thomas & Mack Center on Thursday.

Denver needed a 15-point win to qualify for the Summer League Playoffs, but Portland had other ideas.

There were eight ties and 13 lead changes in this game, but the Trail Blazers rode a 60-51 second half to this victory. Neither team led by more than 10 points. Portland doubled up Denver in assists, 30-15. The Trail Blazers shot 54% from the field and 44% from 3-point range while holding the Nuggets to 43% from the field and 38% from long range. They also outscored Denver in the paint, 50-26.

The Nuggets were led by Mark Spears, tallying 26 points. Bryce Hopkins had 18 points and eight rebounds, Trevon Brazile totaled 19 points and eight rebounds while Jahmi’us Ramsey led the bench with 13 points.

The Trail Blazers were led by Quincy Olivari who collected 16 points. Frankie Fidler finished with 16 points and five rebounds. The Blazers’ No. 16 overall pick in the

Yang Hansen had 13 points, five rebounds, while Jaylen Martin led the bench with 15 points.
