103-97
win against the Boston Celtics at
2026 NBA Summer League
on Saturday.
Reneau
did all of his damage in only 18 minutes off the bench. He finished 6-for-7 from the field while sinking all three of his 3-point attempts and added three rebounds.
The summer finale for both squads was tied at 24 through the first 10 minutes of play. Boston battled to take a 48-45 advantage at halftime.
Orlando flipped the script entirely in the third quarter, thanks in large part to Reneau’s brilliance.
The Magic won the third quarter 36-23 behind scorching shooting, going 13-for-18 overall (72.2%) while connecting on four-for-six attempts from long range.
The Celtics didn’t go away quietly, though. They trailed by as much as 15 with less than eight minutes remaining, but Boston rallied back to make it a two-point lead for Orlando, 99-97, with 17.9 seconds to go.
The Magic would hang on to win their fourth straight Summer League game after dropping the opener. Boston dominated in fast break points (20-6) but committed 23 turnovers resulting in 20 points for the Magic.
Au’Diese Toney
shined off Orlando’s bench with 18 points, six rebounds and four steals. Will Baker added 15 points and six rebounds.
Caleb Grill led the way for the Celtics as a reserve, pouring in 18 points. John Tonje chipped in 14 points.
Tucker DeVries
scored 11 points.
