England’s stars try to keep cool ahead of their red-hot semi-final against Argentina tomorrow night.
Midfielder Jude Bellingham , who scored both goals in the 2-1 quarter-final win over Norway , was among those chilling out at the team’s base in Kansas.
They will fly to Atlanta, Georgia, today to prepare for their World Cup semi-final against Argentina, followed by thousands of fans.
Stars including goalie Jordan Pickford looked relaxed while Ezri Konsa, Declan Rice and Nico O’Reilly gave a nod to film Castaway by playing with a volleyball featuring the face of Wilson, who Tom Hanks’ character befriended on a desert island in the 2000 film.
It might have been a sly reference to the fact England’s fans and players have travelled further than any of the teams remaining in the World Cup.

England have had to travel more than 14,000 miles to reach the last four. That’s seven times further than favourites France and considerably more than opponents Argentina. Today Spain will kick off against France at 8pm UK time in Dallas, Texas. England will play Argentina at the same time tomorrow in Atlanta.
Meanwhile police have brought in extra officers in downtown Atlanta, as the giant fanzone has been completely sold out for the game, which kicks off 3pm local time.

Three Lions supporters have been praised for their behaviour throughout the tournament so far.
Police insisted they were not expecting problems tomorrow and said they were drafting in more cops as purely a precautionary measure.
But they realise the Argentina clash is a powder keg game with rival fans sitting together.

England fans said they hoped, whatever the result, the game would be played in the right spirt on and off the pitch.
Peter Thompson, 63, said: “It’s been a wonderful tournament so far – let’s hope it continues.
“Our fans have been brilliant and I expect that will be the same tomorrow.”

A police spokesman said: “The Atlanta Police Department has enhanced its citywide public safety and security posture.
“Additional personnel and resources are already deployed and will continue to be strategically assigned in and around the event venues, entertainment districts, and other high-traffic areas to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
