Gabriel Martinelli transfer odds shorten as Leandro Trossard Besiktas move confirmed

With Leandro Trossard's transfer to Besiktas all but confirmed, there continues to be movement in the betting market to suggest Arsenal could be looking at another high-profile exit just months after securing their first Premier League title in 22 years. The latest developments sees Gabriel Martinelli now linked to a move to potentially the Serie A with odds on Juventus signing him slashing dramatically.

It comes just hours after Trossard was given the 'here we go' from Fabrizio Romano for the surprise move to Turkish giants Besiktas despite playing a pivotal role in Arsenal's title-winning season. The 31-year-old winger played a crucial part in Mikel Arteta's rotation system on the left-wing contributing to 12 goals in 31 Premier League appearances.

The move did surprise a number of football fans and now talks of Martinelli could also surprise a number of Arsenal fans too. There have often been rumours linking Martinelli with a move away from the Emirates Stadium but with no real destination to link the Brazilian international with but now there appears to be a solid contender.

However, Martinelli remains a pivotal figure at Arsenal and has been a key part of Mikel Arteta’s squad throughout the 2025-26 season. The club are keen to keep their core intact as they gear up to challenge for major honours in 2026-27, meaning he is not a player they would allow to leave without a fight. That context makes the sudden spike in interest in him particularly notable.

As for the market shift, it is easily explained. Juventus are reportedly planning to strengthen their forward line in the summer 2026 window after their Serie A campaign, and the Brazilian winger is said to fit what they are looking for. With a big club in the market for attackers and Martinelli’s name suddenly gathering momentum, it is little surprise the odds have shortened sharply - from 50/1 to as low as 15/8.

Currently, despite the interest, Arsenal remain odds-on favourites to keep the player ahead of the transfer window deadline in September at 10/11 with bet365 while BetMGM have him staying in the Premier League at 7/10.

Juventus, meanwhile, have dropped dramatically from 50/1 longshots to now 15/8 with Sky Bet while bet365 is offering 3/1 odds at the time of writing this. There are, however, other Serie A suitors who could approach the Brazilian and grab his services including Roma who are 5/1 at moment.
