Manchester United have announced the signing of three new first-team players this week. There could also be more to come during the summer window.
United fans have had to wait for their club to begin their market activity this summer but new arrivals are now coming along like London buses . Andrey Santos was the club's first signing , moving from Chelsea for £50million.
Backup goalkeeper Karl Darlow became the second recruit after joining on a free transfer from Leeds United and on Tuesday evening, Youri Tielemans officially became a United player after his £35m Aston Villa release clause was activated.
The Belgian midfielder has now selected his squad number and has quite the legacy to follow. Mirror Football takes a look at the latest transfer updates from Old Trafford.

United's newest addition is sure to bolster Carrick's midfield with his Premier League experience and deep-playmaking abilities. But Tielemans has some big shoes to fill after picking the No. 18 shirt, made famous by Paul Scholes.

Ashley Young also wore the 18, as did Bruno Fernandes during his first couple of years with the club. Casemiro was the last player to wear it.
After Tielemans' signing was announced, he said: "It's hard to describe just how proud I am to join Manchester United. Signing for such a special club feels incredible, it is the culmination of years of dedication since I first fell in love with football.
"I have had the privilege of experiencing success in the game and it has only increased my determination to achieve more. The ambition from everyone at the club is extremely clear; we are all determined to push for the biggest trophies over the coming years."
Elsewhere, Marcus Rashford's dream of securing a return to Barcelona has become even more unlikely, with reports in Spain suggesting that Ferran Torres' future won't be decided until September.

Rashford spent last season on loan at the Catalan giants, but they did not exercise the £26m purchase option in this deal. Furthermore, Barcelona have already completed the £70m signing of Anthony Gordon from Newcastle and are set to purchase Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund .
Both of these players operate in Rashford's position and so Barcelona coming back in for him will likely remain a dream. Torres' exit could pave the way for a move, but Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claims he could sign a new contract in September.
This delay is due to FFP concerns, but regardless, it means that either Torres re-signs and Rashford is left high and dry, or he leaves after September, by which time the Englishman's future will likely have already been decided.
