Newcastle United
are standing firm in their stance that Bruno Guimaraes and Lewis Hall are not for sale, although they are open to offers for three first team players.
Arsenal
are interested in Brazil international Guimaraes, while
Manchester United
are thought to be keen on left-back Hall.
However, Newcastle have already sold two big players this summer, with
Anthony Gordon
going to Barcelona and
Sandro Tonali
leaving for
Tottenham
.
Those two high profile departures have brought in nearly £170 million for the Magpies but they don’t want tolose any other key players.
The Athletic
report that Newcastle ‘insist’ Guimaraes is not for sale, while they view Hall as ‘important to their long-term plans.
In fact, the Magpies are looking to sign at full-back to add competition, rather than lose the
England
international.
Of course, any stance can be tested by an enormous bid, but it would take an eye-watering amount to convince Newcastle to let either Guimaraes or Hall go this summer.

There could be moves for other regulars in the first team in recent years, though, if interest emerges in them.
Joe Willock and Jacob Murphy are both into the final 12 months of their contracts at St James’ Park and offers would be considered for either.
Newcastle are looking to sign a goalkeeper this summer, which would make Nick Pope available to leave.
However, there have been no concrete approaches for Willock, Murphy or Pope so far.

Newcastle have already brought in a goalkeeper this summer in Ewen Jaouen from Reims, but the 20-year-old is not expected to be first choice.
