114-98
, at Cox Pavilion in the
2026 NBA Las Vegas Summer League
on Wednesday.
There were 11 lead changes in the game, but all of them occurred in the first quarter, and the Timberwolves never looked back after grabbing a 23-22 lead on a
Donovan Williams
free throw at the 2:16 mark of the first period. Minnesota closed out the first quarter on a 12-2 run after Williams’ free throw, and they held an 11-point lead after the second frame ended tied at 27.
The Timberwolves extended their lead further in the second half, outscoring Indiana 27-22 in the third quarter, and the 16-point margin proved too much for the Pacers to overcome. The game was out of the Pacers’ reach in the final minutes, and Minnesota cruised to victory.
Pullin led the Timberwolves with a game-high 23 points and six assists in 30 minutes. Evans, a second-round pick in the
2026 NBA Draft
out of Duke, scored 22 points on 22 shots.
Enrique Freeman
had a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds, and
Trey Kaufman-Renn
chipped in 14 points off the bench.
Rocco Zikarsky
(12 points) and
Nate Santos
(11 points) also scored in double figures for Minnesota.
Jalen Slawson
continued his strong play for the Pacers in the Las Vegas Summer League with a team-high 20 points, nine rebounds, three assists and four blocks, though he also had a game-high six turnovers.
Gabe McGlothan
Cameron Hildreth
(11) also scored in double digits off the bench.
Keba Keita
(10 points, five boards) was the other starter to score in double digits for Indiana.
Braden Smith
filled the stat sheet with eight points, eight assists and six rebounds.
